Venue: Quarry Bank
Quarry Bank is one of Britain’s greatest industrial heritage sites. The mill and grounds are now looked after by the National Trust. There’s plenty to do on site such as exploring the domestic life of the mill-owning Greg family, or wander through the stunning picturesque gardens that rise up the banks of the river. On the estate there are acres of woodland to explore. Put on your walking boots and get ready to stretch your legs; follow the bubbling River Bollin as it flows through acres of picturesque woodland and climb up through the valley to see historic bridges, amazing trees and dramatic cliffs and caves
