    Hi,
A group if us are coming to your Dirty Dancing experience at Barnsley on 10th June, we were thinking of bringing a picnic along with us and we’re just wondering if this is something that we will be allowed to bring in with us?
Also we are arranging a minibus to get us there and back and need to know what time the actual film would be on from and until so that we can arrange appropriate drop off and pick up times please.
    Many thanks,
    Hayley

We’ll be sending out up to date info on everything you need to know about parking, food & drink and what to expect from our exciting Dirty Dancing event. In the meantime – just to clarify we are asking visitors if possible to NOT to bring in their own food and drink and instead to support the independent food vendors on site who have been brought in to help make the event special (and possible).
Events like this aren’t possible without the support of food and drinks vendors, so we politely request our guests support them in return.
There will be plenty of choice and details of vendors will be released very soon!

Doors open at 5pm, we would recommend arriving as early as you can to take advantage of all the entertainment thats on before the film. The event finishes at 11pm.

      Hope that helps.

    Good Afternoon,

In reference to your comment regarding “polite request not to bring own food/drink)

Myself and the group attending were planning on bringing our own “slimming world” friendly food and drinks hamper

Does a polite request mean that we will have our hamper confiscated on entry??

    • Julia says:

      Hi, this is very admirable!!

We are not going to spoil the fun by confiscating food and drink. We just ask that people to take into consideration that there will be food and drink onsite. We will have a number of independent retailers. If too many people brought their own food & drink in, then they retailers would suffer and wouldn’t come to our events anymore – ironically, then people would be unhappy with there being no food & drink provision.

The short answer, is yes, by all means bring your own food if you have special dietary requirements.

      Thanks
      Sneaky

  3. Shirley Bottomley says:

Hi, I understand that the age rating for the film is 15, but my 9 year old has seen it with me hundreds of times so does that mean she can’t attend the event or is it up to parents discretion.

  4. Tatiana says:

Hi, please let me know what time the film will start?

    • Julia says:

Doors open at 5pm when your 60s experience will begin. Arrive on time to ensure you make the most of your time with us.

  5. Amanda says:

    Hi
Can we bring chairs in with us??

  6. Shirley Bottomley says:

Hi there, as I’ve seen the weather and it’s meant to be chucking it down ( typical) will I be allowed to bring a beach shelter to sit in to shelter from the rain.
